As promised, I am posting all the files required for booting HTC Wizard using linwizard kernel. The zImage, initrd (it is a cramfs), default.txt file and the HaRet are available in the vairam.zip

I used the linwizard-silven for compiling the kernel. The .config file created using “make menuconfig” is also available as part of the zip archive. For your convenience, I have included default.txt and haret as well.

Since I wanted to create my own root file system, I have created INITRD which includes busybox.

This version boots HTC Wizard in less than 15 seconds with this basic setup. 

This is still in development. Since this is a highly unstable version, use it at your own risk.

The efforts are on to get the stabler version. Many keys are recognizaed and system crashes on some key stroke.

Finally I got “VAIRAM” up and running with minimal kernel with initrd.

I will post the details in my next blog and also upload the “unstable” kernel and initrd images
